DIMAPUR, AUG 28 (NPN): Representatives of eight tribes have jointly resolved to stand firm and united to help bring about early and honourable solution. This was among the three-point resolution adopted during a meeting held at the Angami Public Organisation hall, Kohima Wednesday.

Besides the resolution circulated on social media, it was stated that representatives of Angami, Ao, Lotha, Sumi, Chakhesang, Zeliang, Pochury and Rengma were among those who attended the meeting. The resolution was signed by sessional chairman, KT Vilie and sessional general secretary Jonas Yanthan.

The house also resolved to approach NSCN (I-M), NNPGs and Governor & Interlocutor, RN Ravi to share the contents of the negotiations for information and in order to dispel unwanted suspicion. However, the house decided to meet the groups only after a meeting with ENPO tribes. Further, the house also agreed to hold a meeting with ENPO tribes on August 31 at Acacia hotel, Dimapur.
