“The national parties, who had been running the government while blaming each other for many issues, do not listen to the voice of the small communities. NPF will be there to hear their voices.”
This was stated by president, NPF Manipur State Unit, Awangbow Newmai during the reception ceremony of former BJP members, ADC Ukhrul, HA Vareshang and ADC Senapati, R Ashihrii who had joined the party, held at the election office of outer Manipur Parliamentary Constituency candidate of NPF, Dr Lorho located at Dewlahland.
MLA Awangbow Newmai expressed his happiness for the shown trust towards NPF by the joining of the members of ADC Ukhrul and Senapati to the party, and stated that NPF has given them a warm welcome. A candidate will become successful only when he has been blessed by God and the people, he said. NPF being a regional party, has been working with the knowledge of the general sentiments of the people, he said.
There are many parties in the country and it is being ruled by either Congress or BJP, he said. When they are busy opposing each other, they cannot comprehend nor work for the public, he further said adding the issue of the smaller communities are ignored.
Therefore, the public must make a platform and give more focus on a party which will truly work for the people, he further said adding there is a need for a party which will understand the sentiments of the small communities. NPF is the party of the people of this region and it will stand for the backward groups, he added.
BJP which is in power at the Centre, is busy criticising Congress instead of laying down what they will do for the public, he stated. The real issues of the public are still being kept ignored, he said adding NPF will be there raise the voice of small communities and appealed the public to extend their support.
NPF candidate, Dr Lorho also expressed his happiness over the joining of two new members who left BJP as they were not satisfied. NPF though being a small party, is honest and sincere, and it will stand for the truth, he said. He further appealed the public not to view the party as a communal one.
He further said that CAB will be brought up again if BJP comes to power and they will try to pass it anyhow, as stated by Amit Shah. If CAB is passed, it will give a huge impact to the people of this region, he said. He appealed the public to extend their support to the regional party so that these issues may be tackled. Only a regional party can bring solutions to these issues, he added.
