Chief minister, N. Biren made this statement on Manipur Cultural Integration Conference (MCIC)’s golden jubilee celebration closing ceremony held at Thangapat dolphin road, Imphal East. He said that cultural integrity will bring the people together and unite them. Since long years back, hill and valley people have been divided but BJP government has start to join them together now.
The importance is to join the hill and valley people. In the valley, bridge and road connections can be constructed easily. Because of the betrayal by the politicians, the people of hill and valley became distant from one another and differences have come up between them. The present situation is changed and now educated people can make corrections and negotiate the misunderstandings. Let the people work together to bring oneness and unity. Present government will not work for themselves they will work for the welfare of people, he added.
Speaker Y. Khemchand, president, MCICI, Aribam Brajakumar Sharma also attended the event.
