NSCN (I-M) members and representatives of the Government of India on Friday held a meeting of the Cease Fire Ground Rules Review Committee (CFGRRC), at Police Officers Mess Chumukedima.
NSCN (I-M) MIP in a press note stated that both the sides suggested promoting a more conducive environment while upholding the sincere progress in the talks, keeping in mind the landmark Framework Agreement signed between the two parties on August 3, 2015.
NSCN (I-M) members were led by ‘gen’ (retd.) V.S. Atem, member collective leadership as the team leaders and members-- Tongmeth Wangnao, member collective leadership; Kraibo Chawang, convener CFMC; Makritsü, steering executive member (SEM); Vikiye Sumi (SEM); A Makunga (SEM), ‘gen.’ (retd.) Phungthing (SEM), kilonser Arep Jamir, MIP kilonser David Mero, MIS kilonser O. Mozamo, ‘brig.’ Honreishang, ‘col.’ Khannganing PRO and DJ Rudolph, secretary CFMC as member secretary.
Government of India delegation was led by Rina Mitra, spl. secretary (Internal Security), Satyendra Garg, jt. secy MHA (NE), R.R. Verma, MHA jt. director, D.K. pathak, CFMG chairman, Maj. Gen. Sanjay Gupta, IGAR (N), Dilip Singh Bhaduri, director cabinet secretariat, R. Rama Krishna, Home commissioner Nagaland, Col. D.S. Rathore MO 2, Lt. Col. G.S. Vidyartti (DGMI), T. Mere, Staff Officer (GSMV) and Sreemathi Gosh, section officer, MHA.
