Neithongunuo Rio Achumi from City Gym, Dimapur emerged as the winner of World Amateur Body Building Association NE India Miss Fitness, a regional bodybuilding and fitness sporting event.
Lily Hasnu from Isaac National Gym, Dimapur bagged the second place.
Both athletes from Nagaland have also qualified for the Hercules Olympia 2018 Championship to be held in New Delhi in September. Hercules Olympia is an international event and platform for over 400 athletes from more than 26 countries.

Indian Super League (ISL) title holder Chennaiyin FC on Friday signed the Mizoram trio of Isaac Vanmalsawma, Zohmingliana Ralte and Laldinliana Renthlei on two-year deals.

Twenty-one-year old winger Isaac Vanmalsawma and 27-year-old defender Zohmingliana Ralte have signed for the two-time ISL champions after the expiry of their contracts at FC Pune City and Bengaluru FC respectively, a press note said.

Dimapur, June 20 (MExN): Two Naga archers Archer Kilenmeren and Kevikieno bagged a gold and bronze medal respectively in the Individual Olympic Round representing India in the recently concluded India-Bhutan Friendship Archery Championship in Bhutan.

Hunezo, State Archer Coach in a press release stated that Archer Kilenmeren bagged 3 gold medals and Kevikieno won 1 gold and 1 bronze medal held at Thimpu, Bhutan on June 16 and 17.

Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo has accepted a two-year prison sentence and fine of 18.8 million euro after being accused of defrauding the Spanish government in unpaid tax on Friday, according to a report on newspaper El Mundo.

The Portuguese captain, who is leading his side at the FIFA World Cup 2018 in Russia right now, is however unlikely to serve any jail time since the Spanish law dictates that for a sentence of under two years for first offence can be served on probation.
