Eighteen-year-old Hormipam Ruivah, who is currently playing for Minerva Punjab FC has been selected for the Indian U-19 training camp which will kickstart from 2nd March in Goa. This exciting news was shared by the club on their official Facebook and Twitter page.
Elated to share the news that six of our Under-18 players who recently won the Elite Youth League have been called up for the Indian U-19 training camp.

Hormipam joins the impressive list of young Minerva Punjab FC players and other talented players across the country to have been called for the Under-19 national team camp. And based on their performace during the training camp, the Indian U-19 squad will be selected.
Hormipam Ruivah, who plays center back is part of the Minerva Punjab FC team who recently help won their maiden Elite League Trophy on 8th Feb 2019.
Hormipam Ruivah hails from Somdal Village and has been playing football since his early childhood. He joined Minerva Punjab FC in August last year.
It is also worth mentioning that his elder brother Kuivao Ruivah is also playing for Hindustan FC. Well, looks like football runs in the family.
